Healthcare Reform – Repeal and Replace

Healthcare is a very complex issue and it affects every American.  The partisan entitlement program passed this Congress takes a serious problem and proceeds to make it worse.  If I am elected, I will vote to repeal this law and replace it with reforms that will preserve the best parts of the American healthcare system while addressing the problems of access and affordability.

America’s Budget Crisis

The single greatest threat facing the United States right now is our growing national debt and Washington’s insatiable desire to spend ever-increasing amounts of borrowed money.  The spending going on in Washington is increasing at an unsustainable pace, and it will ruin our country for future generations if it is not restrained.

ENERGY – Affordable Fuel and Domestic Security

Our nation and our economy rely on energy, and the United States needs to pursue a comprehensive energy policy that ensures affordable, available energy to all Americans.  This is especially critical for the First Congressional District where farming is an essential component of the economy.
