The Healthcare Games Continue

March 21, 2010 by Crawford for Congress

Today Congressman Berry told the Tolbert Report that he remains undecided on the house healthcare measure that will be considered on Sunday. News reports that President Obama has proposed addressing concerns of abortion by signing an executive order to bar public funding of abortion. This is one of the weakest possible ways to address this issue.

The biggest problem with this approach is that he or any future president simply can sign another executive order to reverse the previous one. One of the first orders of business President Obama conducted was to reverse a number of Bush’s executive orders.

Anyone serious about protecting unborn lives would never agree to this sham “solution.”

Marion Berry is lying through his teeth. He’s been lying all along. He knows how he plans to vote, and he made this clear when he voted against the Republican attempt to block the proposed “Slaughter Solution.”

Rick! Next to Call, Call, Call is Pray, Pray, Pray!!! Oft times, that is all – and the best – that some of us can do.

Was thrilled with your attendance at the 1st US Congressional District Committee yesterday. We had a splendid day, didn’t we? Still working on photos, but as soon as they are done, they will be posted on our website. 😀

Berry will vote YES for Obamacare, make no mistake. He skirted around town hall meetings in August, and even kicked constituents out of his office, rather than meet openly and discuss their concerns.

Executive orders have taken on a whole new meaning with this Administration: now it also means they’ll make legislators offers they can’t refuse!

It sickens me to think that my tax dollars may go towards funding abortion! What alternative do I have – not pay taxes? I don’t think so, unless I become a US Senator….
    what have we become?
